Dr. Tomas Gigena, MD is a trusted family physician with more than 30 years of medical experience and co-founder of Evergreen Factor with his wife, Amy. Known for his genuine, down-to-earth style, Dr. Tomas combines the experience of traditional medicine with a thoughtful interest in integrative health, longevity, and emerging wellness technologies.
His goal is not simply to introduce another treatment. He wants people to understand their health, feel heard, and take an informed, proactive role in their well-being.

From Argentina to Oregon
Originally from Argentina, Dr. Tomas earned his medical degree from the National University of Córdoba. After coming to the United States, he completed his Family Medicine Residency and a Women’s Health Fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
His career has included a broad range of medical settings—from street medicine and small nonprofit clinics to community hospitals and nationally recognized teaching institutions. An important early mentor was the founder of the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Integrative Medicine, helping shape Dr. Tomas’s interest in looking beyond isolated symptoms and considering the broader health story of each patient.
Dr. Tomas is fluent in both English and Spanish and welcomes the opportunity to help Spanish-speaking patients feel more comfortable and understood during their care.

At True Health DPC, Dr. Tomas provides relationship-based primary care through a direct primary care membership model. The clinic combines traditional family medicine with integrative wellness insight, longer-term relationships, and a broader view of each patient’s health history.

At Evergreen Factor, Dr. Tomas serves as Medical Director and co-founder. He develops and reviews medical protocols and provides consultation, screening, or approval when appropriate for advanced wellness services.
Evergreen Factor offers a curated toolbox of technologies and wellness modalities for people pursuing longevity, energy, performance, recovery, cellular health, and additional support while navigating complex or chronic concerns.
Services are delivered by trained team members following established protocols. Although Dr. Tomas is not onsite at Evergreen Factor full-time, he remains closely involved in its medical direction and is accessible through scheduled in-person or virtual consultations.

During a consultation, Dr. Tomas takes time to understand your complete health story. Depending on the purpose of your visit, he may review:
