Evergreen Factor is an independently owned longevity and advanced wellness center in Lake Oswego, Oregon, founded by husband-and-wife team Dr. Tomas and Amy Gigena.
Although we offer advanced wellness biohacking technologies, physician-developed protocols, and innovative approaches to cellular health, the heart of Evergreen Factor has always been deeply personal - to create a place where people feel welcomed, heard, cared for, and hopeful.
How Evergreen Factor Began
The earliest vision for Evergreen Factor began during the pandemic. Through conversations and shared patients with biologic dental and holistic-wellness colleagues. There was a common theme that patients were experiencing chronic fatigue, inflammation, and persistent pain and were seeking a more proactive and personalized approach to health optimization. A dream emerged for a center focused on cellular health, detoxification support, recovery, and integrative wellness.
Evergreen Factor opened in 2022. Today, the center is owned and led by Dr. Tomas and Amy, who continue to shape it through their shared passion for innovation, personal connection, and thoughtful wellness care.
Nature in Every Detail
Our connection to nature is more than a theme. It shaped Evergreen Factor from the beginning. Seasonal rhythms and natural recovery cycles serve as reminders that restoration and renewal are fundamental biological processes.
Amy traveled through Central Oregon gathering color inspiration from the forests, rivers, rocks, and lichens that became part of our logo and interior design. The natural textures, peaceful colors, and quiet atmosphere were chosen to help you feel as though you have stepped out of the demands of everyday life and into the restorative calm of nature.
We pair that setting with attentive, heartfelt customer service. Biochacking technology may be part of what brings people through our doors, but how people feel while they are here matters just as much.
The Story Behind Our Name
Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are surrounded by evergreen forests, rivers, mountains, and landscapes that continually demonstrate strength, restoration, and renewal.
While searching for the meaning behind our name, we discovered the story of an injured red bird seeking protection during the winter. Turned away by other trees, the little bird finally found shelter among the evergreens. Each evergreen offered what it could—protection, warmth, and a safe place to rest. The story felt remarkably similar to the people we hoped to serve.
Many arrive looking for motivation or still searching for answers, support, or another possibility after feeling that previous approaches have not fully met their needs. Like the giving trees, Evergreen Factor offers a thoughtfully curated collection of integrative wellness tools, personal attention, and a place to feel supported along the way. “Evergreen” also means enduring or everlasting—a natural reflection of longevity, vitality, and the ability to remain resilient through every season.

Evergreen Factor’s journey has not always been easy. Bringing an ambitious start-up vision to life came with unexpected obstacles, difficult transitions, changing relationships, and seasons that tested our mission. Yet each challenge strengthened our roots, clarified our purpose, and shaped Evergreen Factor into the wellness center it is today—more personal, purposeful, and committed to the people we serve.
Our clients arrive with many different goals. Some are pursuing longevity, athletic performance, energy, or recovery. Others are navigating chronic health concerns or simply want to feel better and stay well longer.
To us, being evergreen means continuing to grow, adapt, and invest in the health that carries you forward. That is the deeper meaning behind Evergreen Factor: resilience, renewal, vitality, and the enduring possibility of feeling your best through every season of life.
Meet Evergreen Factor Founders
Dr. Tomas Gigena, MD | Medical Director
Dr. Tomas is the medical inspiration and innovator behind Evergreen Factor’s clinical protocols. With more than 30 years of medical experience, he is a lifelong learner who continues to explore thoughtful ways to bridge traditional and integrative medicine. Dr. Gigena focuses on integrative medicine, longevity medicine, and personalized wellness protocols that combine evidence-based medical care with carefully selected biohacking modalities.
Curious by nature, Dr. Tomas does not add something to the Evergreen Factor toolbox simply because it is new or trending. He studies the science, connects with experienced professionals, asks questions, and—when appropriate—tries the technology or modality himself before recommending it to others. His willingness to keep learning and exploring has introduced our clients to options they may not otherwise have discovered.
Originally from Argentina, Dr. Tomas is fluent in both Spanish and English and brings warmth, authenticity, and a broad perspective to his work. He is known for his genuine, down-to-earth style, deep compassion, and ability to give people both practical guidance and renewed hope. When medical consultation, screening, or oversight is appropriate, he helps ensure recommendations reflect the individual—not simply a standard menu of services.
Amy Gigena, Certified Health Coach | Operations
Amy brings the health-coaching philosophy, creative vision, and many of the meaningful details behind Evergreen Factor.
Before moving into clinic leadership, Amy founded Lifeshine Wellness, wrote Heartlight, led women’s conferences, and traveled throughout the country speaking about authenticity, purpose, and personal wellness. Her coaching work focused on helping people map their health histories, recognize where life may have shifted toward illness, and communicate their complete story more clearly with a physician.
Today, Amy works largely behind the scenes as Evergreen Factor’s innovator, builder, and keeper of its foundation. Her belief that every person has a story—and deserves to be seen as more than a collection of symptoms—continues to shape the center.
Together, Dr. Tomas and Amy combine medical experience, health coaching, innovation, and personal attention to create an approach that considers the person before the protocol. This shared philosophy is reflected in both of their Oregon clinics: True Health DPC & IV Clinic in Silverton and Evergreen Factor, their advanced wellness center in Lake Oswego.

We are a husband-and-wife team raising four children while caring for two Oregon clinics. We understand that life and health do not unfold in perfectly organized chapters. Families experience stress, change, grief, growth, setbacks, and new beginnings - all having an impact on overall health.
