Full-Spectrum EBOO Therapy is more than a technology we offer—it is an area of focus we have continued to develop since Dr. Tomas Gigena, MD, began providing EBOO Therapy in 2022. Today, Evergreen Factor offers five distinct protocols shaped by his clinical experience, continued research, and collaboration with other EBOO professionals.
We have welcomed professional athletes whose trainers carefully evaluated our approach, clients focused on performance and longevity, and people navigating complex chronic concerns who travel from other states and stay locally to complete a treatment plan. Wherever you are starting, our goal is to provide a thoughtful, personalized EBOO experience.
EBOO stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. “Extracorporeal” simply means the process takes place outside the body. During a session, blood circulates from one arm through a closed external system, where it moves through advanced filtration, receives a carefully controlled oxygen-ozone mixture, and is exposed to full-spectrum ultraviolet light before returning through the other arm. Only a small portion of blood is outside the body at any moment.
By bringing filtration, oxygenation, ozone therapy, and full-spectrum light together, EBOO offers a distinctive wellness experience designed to support circulation, cellular wellness, and the body’s natural detoxification processes. Every EBOO journey begins with a medical consultation to determine the most appropriate Evergreen Factor protocol for you.

Your EBOO plan is built around you. During a one-on-one medical consultation, Dr. Tomas Gigena, MD, reviews your health history, current concerns, medications, relevant lab results, and wellness goals.
He then determines whether EBOO is appropriate, selects from Evergreen Factor’s five Full-Spectrum protocols, and recommends the number and timing of sessions. This is also your opportunity to understand the procedure, discuss his recommendation, and have your questions answered before moving forward.
PRACTITIONER REFERRALS: : We also welcome referrals from physicians and other qualified healthcare practitioners. Referral information should include your relevant health history, recent laboratory results, current medications, and reason for considering EBOO Therapy. HemeaLumen® applies controlled light to blood as it circulates through an external system. At Evergreen Factor, it may be used as an enhancement to EBOO I–IV or scheduled as a separate medically approved service with Methylene Blue.
Full-Spectrum EBOO adds ultraviolet blood irradiation to the filtration and oxygen-ozone process. The term “Full-Spectrum” refers to the broad range of ultraviolet light wavelengths used during the procedure.
As blood circulates through the external system, it receives controlled light exposure before returning to the body. These wavelengths are studied for their influence on immune signaling, oxidative balance, blood-cell activity, and other biological responses associated with cellular wellness.
By bringing advanced filtration, oxygenation, ozonation, and ultraviolet light together in a carefully sequenced process, Full-Spectrum EBOO Therapy offers a comprehensive experience. This light-based element adds another dimension to the procedure, focusing on healthy circulation, cleansing. cellular resilience, immune balance, and overall support for the body’s natural recovery processes.
People come to Evergreen Factor for EBOO with very different goals.
Some are professional athletes, active adults, or experienced biohackers focused on performance, recovery, and longevity.
Others are navigating complex or chronic health concerns and looking for additional support within a personalized wellness plan.
Potential Areas of Support
EBOO Therapy is often explored by people who are experiencing:
It may also appeal to those pursuing proactive wellness, athletic recovery and physical performance, healthy aging, or a deeper and more focused cellular-health routine. Some clients incorporate EBOO Therapy alongside care from an existing physician or healthcare practitioner, while others begin with Dr. Tomas to explore their options.
Depending on your specific needs and goals, he may recommend an individual session, a structured series, or a periodic EBOO wellness plan.
One of the most fascinating parts of EBOO is seeing the filtration process in action. As blood circulates through the closed external system, it passes through a specialized, single-use filter designed to collect selected circulating material based on the filter’s membrane properties. The filter may visibly change throughout the session as material accumulates. Sometimes it looks like foam, other times a liquid and varies person to person.
Evergreen Factor’s five EBOO protocols are designed around different health concerns and wellness goals, including support related to:
This visible filtration component is one of several elements that make Full-Spectrum EBOO such a distinctive and engaging wellness experience.

HemeaLumen® brings a light-based dimension to Evergreen Factor’s advanced blood-wellness protocols. Unlike a traditional red light bed or panel that delivers light externally, HemeaLumen® exposes circulating blood to multiple ultraviolet, visible, and infrared wavelengths within a closed external system.
This carefully controlled light exposure is designed to support cellular energy, inflammatory balance, immune signaling, and the body’s natural recovery pathways. Clients may explore HemeaLumen® when looking for a more comprehensive cellular-wellness experience or an additional layer of support within their EBOO plan.
HemeaLumen® may be added to EBOO I through IV or experienced as part of EBOO V, where it is paired with methylene blue in our most comprehensive Full-Spectrum EBOO protocol. It is also available as a standalone service with methylene blue.
Dr. Tomas reviews your health history, medications, laboratory information, and goals to determine whether HemeaLumen® is appropriate. When added to EBOO, the light-based component is incorporated into your scheduled session and administered by trained clinical professionals.

EBOO stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. During the procedure, blood circulates from one arm through a closed external system before returning through the other arm. “Full-Spectrum” refers to the range of light wavelengths used during ultraviolet blood irradiation. Depending on the selected Evergreen Factor protocol, the process may incorporate blood filtration, a controlled oxygen-ozone mixture, ultraviolet blood irradiation, or additional cellular-wellness support.
Only a portion of blood is outside the body at any time. It moves continuously through a closed system, where it is processed according to the selected protocol and then returned to circulation. Each treatment uses single-use medical components and is administered by trained clinical professionals following established Evergreen Factor protocols.
Dr. Tomas Gigena, MD, has provided EBOO Therapy since 2022, beginning at True Health DPC in Silverton, Oregon. EBOO I follows the standard Full-Spectrum EBOO procedure. Drawing on his clinical experience, continued research, collaboration with industry experts, and work with patients facing diverse health concerns, Dr. Tomas personally developed EBOO II through V to provide more individualized protocol options.
Dr. Tomas has also trained and mentored regional EBOO practitioners, some of whom have incorporated elements of his protocols into their own practices. Today, Evergreen Factor offers five Full-Spectrum EBOO protocols:
