EBOO Therapy (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) represents a significant advancement in integrative and regenerative medicine. At Evergreen Factor in Lake Oswego, Oregon, board-certified physician Dr. Tomas Gigena, MD, administers this sophisticated treatment with precision and medical oversight. This comprehensive guide explores what EBOO therapy entails, who may benefit, and how it fits within a holistic health strategy. .
This therapy is designed to support your body at a cellular level, promoting improved circulation, enhanced immune response, and optimal detoxification. The use of ozone and UV light helps clear out unwanted elements in the bloodstream, making your body more efficient in its natural detox processes. Filtering your blood is just one extra step in helping your body get as strong as it can to fight disease, sickness, and inflammation.
Invigorate vital organs, enhance circulation, and ease the burden of cellular waste for a stronger, healthier body at the deepest level.
EBOO, sometimes called "Full Spectrum EBOO" or "EBO2," is an advanced extracorporeal therapy that combines three evidence-based modalities within a single, closed-circuit system:
Unlike simple ozone injections or basic UV treatments, EBOO's integrated approach allows for synergistic effects that support systemic wellness at the cellular level. The procedure typically lasts 45-60 minutes and is performed under strict medical supervision at our Lake Oswego clinic.
Research and clinical observation suggest EBOO may offer benefits across multiple health domains:
Regardless of where you are on your health journey, EBOO may provide significant benefits by enhancing your body’s natural ability to fight off illness, reduce inflammation, and promote better overall function.
At Evergreen Factor, we recognize that personalized protocols yield optimal results. Each treatment plan begins with a comprehensive medical evaluation with Dr. Tomas Gigena, M.D. to determine the most appropriate approach.
A pre-screen consult is required with our medical doctor to determine which EBOO treatment is best for your wellness goals (e.g., immune modulation vs. heavy metal detoxification).
Dr. Tomas Gigena, M.D., will help select the most effective protocol from EBOO I, EBOO II, EBOO III or EBOO IV. One session is beneficial for health optimization, but a structured series of 3 or 6 sessions is typically recommended for best results, depending on your symptoms and health focus.
*We also accept medical referrals from providers. Please include diagnosis and the number of desired treatments. Email client care at: info@evergreenfactor.com

As blood is drawn from the vein, it circulates through the proprietary EBOO machine where it is passed through a dialysis filter. Oxygen and ozone are then introduced into the purified blood and reintroduced to the body by IV through a different vein. The blood is never exposed to the outside elements because is all done through a closed system so there is no risk for contamination. The entire process takes about 50 minutes. Only a small portion of your blood is filtered, leaving more than enough in your body during the process. During treatment, we can see the dead cells, proteins, and fats removed from the blood.

EBOO Therapy is beneficial for everyone. From those that are struggling with a specific health concern, to those just focused on achieving greater health. We can discuss your specific goals during the health consultation. EBOO is especially beneficial for the following conditions:
